Put A Spring Into Your Flash Fiction

Week-long course, March 23-29

Springtime is all about new growth and renewal, so this week-long course is the perfect opportunity to explore some fresh ways of creating flash fiction drafts you can nurture, new ways to generate work through interesting and unusual exercises and get feedback on your writing in a supportive environment. There’s also an emphasis on reading and analysis as a route to improved writing. Even if it isn’t Spring in your part of the world, this is still an opportunity to put some pep in your writing step, especially if you feel creatively uninspired or going through a lean spell.

This course is aimed at flash and short fiction writers (from novice writers with some writing background through to more experienced writers). A daily package of prompts and exercises will be available, but writers work to their own schedule and personal targets – there are no stressful deadlines or expectations. Learning is through attempting different and innovative ways to generate writing and exchange of constructive feedback. The course uses a website specially designed for online courses which is easy to navigate.

Cost: £80 (or around US$100, AUS$140). Two discounted places for writers from marginalised or low income backgrounds are available. Please use the contact form below to apply for the course (if you want to apply for a discounted place, please state this on the contact form).
